Nilam Patel Bahushrut Foundation, a public charitable trust, was founded on 2nd Nov, 1993.

NPBF offers scholarships, prizes and awards for higher studies to Hearing Impaired students of Maharashtra and Gujarat.

The Foundation is registered under Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950.
The Foundation has received income tax exemption certificate under section 80-G. The Foundation is also registered under Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 1976.
What Does Bahushrut Mean?
'Bahushrut' means a learned scholar who has acquired knowledge through hearing.
Hearing impaired students who study in regular educational setup, do have to listen to their teachers in spite of their handicap. They do this through their hearing aids and utilize their residual hearing to maximum potential.

All application forms are available on the foundation's website. Students can download them and submit duly filled application forms along with necessary documents during 1st July to 31st August.
These are accepted at the administrative office of the trust in Vadodara by post or courier.
