Nilam Patel Bahushrut Foundation, a public charitable trust, was founded on 2nd Nov, 1993. The foundation is registered under Bombay Public Trust Act, 1995. The foundation has received income tax exemption certificate under section 80-G.
The Foundation is also registered under Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 1976.

Nilam Patel Bahushrut Foundation aims at :

  • Promoting equal opportunities for the hearing impaired & helping them to integrate into mainstream of society as productive members.

  • Encouraging them for higher education by awarding prizes & scholarships every year.

  • Bringing additional change towards hearing impaired people in society.

  • Serving as a meeting ground for the hearing impaired & helping them to choose a suitable life partner.

 
§ About the founder - Ms. Nilam Patel
Ms. Nilam Patel >> After school acquired Diploma & Certification in education of Normal, Mentally challenged & Hearing Handicap children.
 >> After obtaining Master's Degree in Sociology, she obtained Master of Science degree in Speech and Hearing from Central Institute for the Deaf, St.Louis, Missouri, USA.
 >> Been involved in rehabilitation of the deaf since 1978. 
>> Management Program for the Executives (NGO) from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management, a Deemed University, Mumbai, INDIA in 2006.
§ Trustee - Ms. Kalpana Samtani
Ms. Kalpana Samtani >> Who has passed 'A' level and 'O' level examination in England.
>> Passed stage I and II examination from Institure of Banker.
§ Trustee - Ms. Madhu Jagasia
Ms. Madhu Jagasia >> B.A. (Hons) from Delhi University.
